Reading WB Keckler's Sanskrit of the Body, which won the National Poetry Series a couple years back. I took some poems from him for UES, and he sent me a kind note about my own stuff. He's interesting -- the first section kicks out a sensibility of the line that sometimes seems prose poem-friendly, by which I mean chatty but reserved, and with plenty of Wallace Stevens to boot. I haven't made it to the smaller second half section, but there's short lines, and it looks very interesting.

Sestina postmortem
I again apologize for form rejections for the sestina submissions -- I really can only pick a few sestinas for the section, and wish I could set others aside for a Sestina Reader or some such. But alas, I can only line up 3-4 every 3 months or so. I got an accidental email on my sestina account, one submittor saying to another, "Dude, I got the exact same note," as if to imply the editor didn't even read the submissions -- but I really do. Anyway, I did accept some, which is a great feeling, and I'm still hoping to get some rock star poets to give original sestinas -- just to ensure the section lives, so I can pick other writers who aren't rock stars yet.
